The Electrical Engineering AC Machine Laboratory is established to provide practical exposure and technical understanding of alternating current machines used in industrial and power system applications. The laboratory enables students to study the construction, operation, characteristics, testing, and control of AC machines such as transformers, induction motors, synchronous motors, and alternators. Through various experiments, students learn about performance analysis, efficiency calculation, speed control, starting methods, synchronization, load characteristics, and parallel operation of machines. The lab also helps students develop practical skills in handling electrical equipment, conducting tests, taking measurements, interpreting results, and following electrical safety procedures. This laboratory bridges the gap between theoretical concepts and real-world industrial practices, thereby enhancing students’ technical competency and problem-solving abilities in the field of electrical engineering.
